LV/MDB Panel
Main low-voltage distribution board — the backbone for sub-distribution across a facility.
An LV MDB (Low Voltage Main Distribution Board) is the central electrical panel in a facility that receives power (under 1000V) and safely distributes it to various circuits, housing main breakers, fuses, and earth leakage protection for overload/fault management — serving as the backbone for sub-distribution to different zones and equipment. Includes main circuit breakers (ACBs/MCCBs) and fuses to protect against short circuits, overloads and earth faults; centralizes control, monitoring (ammeters, voltmeters) and switching for the entire low-voltage system; metal-enclosed, compartmentalized construction with copper or aluminium busbars. Typical specifications: rated around 415V AC (or 380V/480V), current from 100A to 6300A or more, 50Hz or 60Hz, complying with IEC 61439.
