Power Control Center (PCC)

Main distribution board that receives, controls and safely routes high-power electricity to loads.

A PCC panel, or Power Control Center panel, is a main electrical distribution board that receives high-power electricity, controls its flow, and distributes it safely to various loads in industrial, commercial, and large-scale settings — acting as the central traffic manager for power, with breakers, meters, and monitoring for protection against overloads. Routes electricity from transformers or generators to downstream equipment, machines and sub-panels; houses breakers (ACBs, MCCBs) to protect circuits from short circuits and overloads; includes instruments (meters, relays) to monitor voltage, current and power usage. Designed to handle high currents (often hundreds or thousands of amps) and high fault levels, typically installed near the main power source such as a transformer.
